Paint Protection Film (PPF)
Paint Protection Film is the best way to protect the painted surfaces of your vehicle from the kind of damage that happens in normal driving. It is designed to help absorb impacts from rock chips, road debris, bug acids, and other abuse that can quickly wear down the front of a vehicle. If you want to preserve the condition and appearance of your paint, PPF is the closest thing to real physical protection.
The most important areas are the ones that take the most abuse. That usually means the front bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, and other forward-facing surfaces. For some vehicles, rocker panels, door edges, luggage areas, and rear bumper tops also make a lot of sense. The right coverage depends on how you drive, where you drive, and how picky you are about keeping the vehicle looking as close to new as possible.
Not every vehicle needs full-body PPF. For many people, front-end protection is the smartest place to start because that is where most of the damage happens. Full-body PPF makes the most sense for darker vehicles, high-end vehicles, vehicles with soft paint, or for owners who want the highest level of long-term protection. It really comes down to your priorities, your budget, and how protected you want the vehicle to be.
Paint Protection Film, also called clear bra, is a durable, transparent urethane film applied over your vehicle’s painted surfaces. It is designed to help protect the paint from rock chips, road debris, minor surface scratches, bug splatter, and other everyday wear. Quality film is also self-healing, meaning light swirls and fine surface marks can disappear with heat.
Yes. That is exactly what it is for. PPF is designed to take the hit so your paint does not have to. While no product can make a vehicle indestructible, Paint Protection Film is by far the most effective option for reducing rock chips and protecting high-impact areas from normal road damage.
As early as possible. The best time is before the vehicle has had time to collect rock chips, scratches, or other wear. Installing PPF while the paint is still in excellent condition gives the best final result and allows you to protect the vehicle before damage starts. If the vehicle already has imperfections, paint correction may be recommended first depending on their severity.
High-quality Paint Protection Film is built to last for 10+ years when properly installed and cared for. Exact lifespan depends on how the vehicle is used, how it is stored, and how well it is maintained, but quality film can hold up extremely well over the long haul. The biggest thing is making sure the film is installed correctly and that the vehicle is cared for properly afterward.
XPEL warranties Paint Protection Film to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for ten (10) years from the date of purchase. Covered defects include: yellowing, staining, cracking, blistering and delaminating. This warranty does not extend coverage to damage caused by normal wear and tear, road debris impact, accidents, collisions or intentional damage of any kind.
If the film is becoming dry, brittle, heavily stained, discolored, or no longer looks clean and clear, it may be time to replace it. Older film can also become harder to remove if it is left on far past its useful life. If you have aging PPF and are unsure whether it still looks right or is protecting the vehicle the way it should, we can inspect it and let you know.
No. PPF does not bond properly to coated surfaces the way it does to clean, properly prepared paint. If a vehicle has already been ceramic coated in an area where PPF needs to go, that coating usually needs to be removed first. That is why it is always smarter to install PPF before ceramic coating if both are being done.
Ceramic Coating
Ceramic coating is a liquid protective layer that bonds to the exterior surfaces of a vehicle. It is designed to improve gloss, make the vehicle easier to clean, and help protect against things like UV exposure, chemical stains, water spotting, and everyday grime. It is not a substitute for Paint Protection Film, but it is an excellent way to add protection and make ongoing maintenance much easier.
The biggest benefits are easier cleaning, better gloss, improved water behavior, and added protection against the elements. A coated vehicle stays cleaner longer, washes up easier, and is less likely to hold onto dirt and contamination the way unprotected surfaces do. It also helps preserve the overall appearance of the vehicle over time.
Yes, if you want to keep it looking better and make it easier to maintain. A new vehicle may be new to you, but that does not mean the paint is fully protected. Ceramic coating helps protect the finish from day one and makes routine upkeep much easier. Starting early is usually the smartest move because it is always easier to protect a clean surface than to fix a neglected one later.
That depends on how long you plan to keep the vehicle, how much protection you want, and how particular you are about appearance and maintenance. Some people want a more entry-level option for easier upkeep, while others want the longest-lasting package possible. The right choice comes down to your goals, your budget, and how heavily the vehicle is used.
No. Ceramic coating is great for gloss, easier maintenance, and protection against things like contamination and environmental wear, but it is not thick enough to stop rock chips and it should not be viewed as true impact protection. If your goal is protection from chips and road rash, Paint Protection Film is the right product.
Ceramic coating can be applied to far more than just the paint. Depending on the package and the vehicle, it can also be applied to wheels, exterior plastics, headlights, taillights, front windshields, and other exterior surfaces. It is a great way to protect the entire outside of the vehicle, not just the painted panels.
That depends on the product used, the condition of the surface before installation, and how the vehicle is cared for afterward. A properly installed professional-grade coating can last for 5-10 years, but no coating lasts forever if the vehicle is neglected. The better the prep, the better the installation, and the better the maintenance, the better the long-term result.
The biggest thing is washing it properly and not letting contamination sit on the surface longer than necessary. Ceramic coating makes maintenance easier, but it does not make the vehicle maintenance-free. Safe wash methods, good drying habits, and routine upkeep will help the coating perform the way it should and keep the vehicle looking its best.
You can, but it is not the ideal way to care for a coated vehicle. Touchless washes are less risky than traditional tunnel washes, but they can still be harsh on the surface depending on the chemicals used. The best approach is proper hand washing or having the vehicle maintained by people who know how to care for coated surfaces correctly.
Yes, depending on the package. Ceramic coatings can be applied to many different surfaces beyond paint, including wheels, exterior trim, headlights, taillights, front windshields, and even leather upholstery in some cases. We can go over exactly what is included based on the service you choose.
Window Tint
We offer two window tint options: XPEL Prime XR Plus and XPEL Prime CS. XR Plus is our premium ceramic film and offers the highest heat rejection. Prime CS is a non-ceramic dyed film that still looks great and provides privacy and glare reduction at a lower price point.
Ceramic tint is much better at reducing heat, especially the kind of heat you actually feel when the sun is beating on the vehicle. It is the better choice if comfort and performance matter to you. Non-ceramic tint still improves appearance, privacy, and glare reduction, but it does not block heat nearly as well as a high-end ceramic film.
That depends on the look you want, how much privacy you want, and how aggressive you want to be with the final result. Some people want a lighter, cleaner look, while others want maximum privacy and a darker appearance. We can help guide you based on the vehicle, your goals, and what usually looks best, while also discussing legal limits and real-world visibility.
Yes, especially with ceramic tint. Quality window tint can make a very noticeable difference in cabin comfort by reducing heat buildup, glare, and harsh sunlight. If your main goal is keeping the vehicle cooler, a ceramic film is absolutely the better way to go.
Windshield tint laws can vary depending on the type of film and where the vehicle is driven. In many cases, a clear or very light heat-rejecting film on the windshield is the most common route for people who want heat reduction without making the glass look dark. If you are considering windshield tint, we can go over the options and help you understand what makes the most sense.
Freshly installed tint needs time to fully bond to the glass. Rolling the windows down too soon can shift the film before it has had time to cure, which can affect the final result. That is why we ask customers to leave the windows up for the recommended amount of time after installation.
Our window tint warranty is lifetime and transferrable. It covers defects such as peeling, bubbling, cracking, adhesive failure, and abnormal color change. It does not cover damage caused by abuse, scratches from outside causes, or anything that happens because the film was not cared for properly. We can go over the exact warranty details for the film you choose.
A high-quality window tint will last for decades when properly installed. The lifespan depends on the type of film, how the vehicle is stored, and how the glass is cared for over time. Premium films hold up far better than cheap tint, both in performance and in how well they continue to look.
Paint Correction
Paint correction is the process of polishing the paint to reduce or remove defects like swirl marks, light scratches, haze, oxidation, and other imperfections that dull the finish. The goal is to improve clarity, depth, and overall appearance by refining the paint, not just covering up the problem temporarily.
If your paint looks dull, hazy, swirled up, or covered in light scratches, it is probably a good candidate for paint correction. A lot of vehicles look decent in the shade but reveal much more damage in direct sunlight or under proper lighting. If the finish no longer looks crisp and reflective, correction is usually worth considering.
Paint correction can significantly improve or remove things like swirl marks, light scratches, water spot etching, oxidation, haze, and other surface-level defects in the clear coat. Deeper scratches or damage that has gone too far into the paint may not fully come out, but many vehicles can still be improved dramatically.
Not always. Some defects can be removed completely, while others can only be improved. It depends on how deep the damage is and how much correction the paint can safely handle. The goal is always to get the best result possible without being reckless with the paint.
A one-step correction is usually aimed at giving the paint a noticeable improvement in gloss and clarity with a lighter level of correction. A two-step correction is more involved and is designed to remove more defects and produce a more refined finish. The right approach depends on the condition of the vehicle and how far you want to take the result.
Yes, in many cases. Ceramic coating will lock in the look of the surface underneath it, so correcting the paint beforehand is often the smartest move if you want the best final appearance. With PPF, correction can also make sense depending on the condition of the paint and the areas being covered. It is always better to start with the paint looking right before installing protection over it.
Usually 1 to 2 days, but that depends on the size of the vehicle, the condition of the paint, and the level of correction being performed. Some vehicles need only a moderate improvement, while others require far more time and labor to get the result where it needs to be. The worse the paint is, the longer it usually takes to correct properly.
Detailing & Car Care
That depends on the condition of the vehicle and what you want out of the service. Some vehicles just need a thorough cleanup and decontamination, while others need polishing or a more involved correction to really bring the finish back. The right service comes down to how the vehicle looks now, how protected it is, and how far you want to take the result.
That can vary depending on the service, but exterior car care typically focuses on cleaning, decontaminating, and improving the appearance of the outside of the vehicle. Depending on the package, that may include washing, chemical decontamination, clay treatment, paint cleansing, and other steps designed to leave the paint cleaner and looking better. We can recommend the right level of service based on the condition of the vehicle.
That depends on how the vehicle is used, where it is parked, and how particular you are about keeping it clean. As a general rule, having the vehicle professionally cared for on a routine basis helps prevent buildup, keeps the finish in better condition, and makes maintenance easier over time. Vehicles that are daily driven, parked outside, or exposed to heavy contamination usually benefit from more frequent service.
A basic detail focuses on cleaning and improving the appearance of the vehicle, while paint correction is a polishing process designed to remove or reduce defects in the paint itself. A detail can make a vehicle look much better, but it does not permanently remove swirl marks, scratches, or haze the way correction can. If the goal is true paint improvement, correction is the more advanced service.
Iron decontamination is a chemical treatment used to dissolve embedded iron particles that bond to the exterior surfaces of a vehicle over time. These contaminants often come from brake dust, road fallout, and industrial debris, and they can stick to the paint even after a normal wash. Removing them helps the surface become cleaner, smoother, and better prepared for whatever comes next.
Clay bar treatment is a process used to remove bonded surface contamination that washing alone cannot get off. Even when paint looks clean, it can still feel rough because contaminants have embedded themselves into the surface. Claying helps remove that buildup and leaves the paint feeling much smoother, which is especially important before polishing or protecting the vehicle.
